Apply NowThe role will be full time, based either at our Earls Colne or Brandon depots (depending on the applicant’s circumstances) and will report directly to the Finance Director. Duties will include collating all purchase invoices for authorisation, coding and posting. PO matching, dealing with queries and disputes as well as supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs. The payroll related duties include collation of weekly timesheets and bonus payments, running the 4 weekly driver’s payroll, BACS payment and dealing with all aspects of payroll compliance. The role is also responsible for processing driver’s weekly expenses and maintaining the company holiday records.
Profile
Previous experience of all aspects of purchase ledger and payroll functions is essential as is a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular, strong Excel skills, including the use of csv file imports.
Experience of Sage 200 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll or similar packages would be an advantage.
Very good interpersonal skills including the ability work well with others.
Availability for an office-based role at either Earl Colne or Brandon.
Experience or knowledge of the transport industry would be beneficial but not essential.
