MAIN DUTIES

• Identifying opportunities to ensure the best rate is provided and most efficient use of resources.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the client, ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained. Resolving customer issues efficiently
• Be proactive in developing business activity with both new and existing clients.
• To ensure all costings are complete and correct daily.
• To make sure that all relevant documentation is accurately generated and distributed Updating the Transport Management System with all relevant data.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Experience of working in a transport industry preferred.
• Self-motivated, professional, and proactive individual who is able to generate new business.
• Independent decision maker with the ability to interact within a busy team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good analytical and planning skills
• A flexible approach to work
• High level of IT & PC literacy and ability to adapt to new technology.
• High levels of numeracy and literacy
