Tideway

LONDON’S SUPER SEWER

2024 will be a year to celebrate as work completes on London’s Tideway project. 25km of the tunnel that will intercept, store and transfer tens of millions of tonnes of sewage waste away from the River Thames.

THE PROJECT

The new ‘super sewer’, which is the biggest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the UK water industry, will bring huge environmental benefits, improving water quality, river wildlife and City pollution levels. Plans include three acres of public open spaces and improvements to the Thames path route, helping London’s residents and visitors reconnect with England’s historic and longest river. The project involves many world-class contractors, who we are pleased to partner to realise this remarkable feat of engineering.

CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

If you are a Tideway contractor, seeking assistance from a third-party supplier, look no further. We have undertaken all the necessary training programmes and are recognised as an approved specialist transport and lifting provider to the Tideway project. Our contribution so far has been recognised by Tideway, from whom we were delighted to receive a Certificate of Achievement for ‘All vehicles are immaculately turned out and thoroughly compliant. The drivers on site are always wearing the correct PPE and show pride in supplying such a high-profile project’.

AN ASSORTMENT OF EQUIPMENT FOR AN ASSORTMENT OF WORK

Our extensive range of transport and lifting equipment ensures that we can undertake virtually any job – and for contractors of the Tideway project we have moved cabins, containers, welfare blocks, modular buildings, construction, and engineering equipment, plus more. Whatever you need delivered, lifted into position, or collected from site, whether tall, wide, long, heavy, hazardous, or just plain awkward, we are the company to contact. As a FORS and Constructionline Gold member with an ISO in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) awarded by The British Standards Institution, we achieve exemplary levels of best practice. We are associated with key industry organisations and hold many other important accreditations. In other words, we can be trusted to do good work – really good work!
