Rail travel, for passengers and freight, helps reduce CO2 emissions by lessening the number of vehicles on our roads. The upkeep of our rail network is therefore crucial to maintaining this positive effect on our environment.

APPROVED SUPPLIER TO THE RAIL INDUSTRY

Rail-side work is not an option available to just any transport company. The work is very specialised and only verified suppliers are considered. We are pleased to be on the RSSB RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) approved supplier list, an advanced portal used by the rail industry to register and pre-qualify suppliers, ensuring compliance with EU Procurement Legislation.

RAIL CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

We transport a variety of loads for the rail industry, using our specialist transport and lifting equipment. We have the most unique vehicle/trailer/crane combinations in our sector, enabling us to provide a resourceful, adaptable service to suit all your requirements. Whether we are delivering road-rail vehicles (RRVs), cabins, containers, cable drums, rail track in 60’ lengths, repair and maintenance machinery, or equipment for building new rail infrastructure, we have the right equipment to ensure safe and efficient transport and lifting service.

RAIL DEPOTS AND RAIL-SIDE

For many years, we have supported the rail industry. Initially as a key contractor on the joint venture between GT Rail Maintenance and Balfour Beatty Rail Projects Ltd (GTBBJV) for the West Coast Main Line upgrade. We have since been involved in many rail-side projects and are proud of our contribution in helping to maintain the UK’s rail infrastructure.
